Turkish Tennis Federation President Şafak Müderrisgil visited the Corendon Tennis Club Kemer facilities in Antalya and came together with local government and institutional representatives. During the contacts, bringing children together with tennis and projects to be implemented in the region were discussed.

Facility Inspection and Delegation Visit

Turkish Tennis Federation President Şafak Müderrisgil, together with Antalya Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Yavuz Gürhan and Kemer District Director of Youth and Sports İlkay Kaya, visited the Corendon Tennis Club Kemer facilities. During the visit, detailed information was conveyed to the delegation regarding the club's current structure, activities, and the planned Padel and Sports Facility project.

Meeting Held for New Projects

Following the inspections at the facility, a joint meeting was held with the participation of Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu, Kemer Municipal Council Member Cansın Efir, and Kemer District Director of National Education Mehmet Erkan Ergen. The main agenda items of the meeting were the "Let's Play Tennis" and "Tennis Middle School in Göynük" projects targeted to be implemented next year.

Details of the Let's Play Tennis Project

In the first phase of the "Let's Play Tennis" project carried out by the TTF, talent screening is planned to be conducted in and around Kemer. Children to be identified as a result of the screenings will be introduced to tennis in line with the court capacity of the facility, and their sporting development will be supported through regular training.

Tennis Middle School Target in Göynük

Within the scope of the Tennis Middle School in Göynük project, it is targeted to open a special tennis class within Göynük Middle School by September 2027. Students to be selected for this project will be introduced to sports at an early age by receiving regular tennis training at the Corendon Tennis Club Kemer facilities.

International Organizations and Collaborations

During the meeting, international tennis organizations planned to be held in Kemer before and after the tourism season, as well as new cooperation opportunities, were also evaluated. Şafak Müderrisgil and the accompanying delegation were invited to the events to be held in October and to the TEN-PRO organizations.
