Galatasaray, one of the teams representing Turkey in the competition, will face Portuguese side Sporting away from home.
Fenerbahçe, on the other hand, will play its first-week match by hosting Italian representative Roma at home.
New Season Format Details
In the season where 36 teams will compete in a league format, the teams that finish in the top 8 after 8 matches will advance directly to the round of 16.
Meanwhile, 16 teams ranked between 9th and 24th places will play a two-legged playoff round to qualify for the round of 16.
Teams finishing outside the top 24 at the end of the league phase will bid farewell to European competitions.
