Youth Gather at the Third Sports Festival Held in Sultangazi
Students from across the district came together in different branches at the organization held in Mimar Sinan City Forest.
Within the scope of the third sports festival organized by Sultangazi Municipality in Mimar Sinan City Forest, young people competed in a friendly atmosphere across 19 different branches and played traditional games.
Gathering at Mimar Sinan City Forest
The sports festival, organized for the third time this year by Sultangazi Municipality, took place in Mimar Sinan City Forest. The district protocol and numerous guests attended the event.
Protocol and Participants
Istanbul Deputy Governor Mustafa Kaya, Sultangazi District Governor Mahmut Kaşıkçı, and Sultangazi Mayor Abdurrahman Dursun participated in the organized event. In addition, district directors and students took their place in the area.
Competition in Nineteen Different Branches
Young people studying in the district's schools sweated it out in a total of 19 different branches, ranging from football to horseback riding, and from badminton to athletics. The competitions were held in a festive atmosphere without any ranking.
Traditional Games and Colorful Moments
Alongside the competitions, traditional games such as folk dances and tug-of-war also took place at the event. Sultangazi Mayor Abdurrahman Dursun visited the gaming area and shared the excitement of the youth.
European City of Sport Goals
Mayor Abdurrahman Dursun reminded that Sultangazi holds the title of European City of Sport and emphasized that their new target is to be chosen as Europe's best sports city.
