An Giang Provincial Police Department Becomes the Standing Agency of the Science and Technology Committee

The An Giang Provincial Police Department took over the responsibilities of the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee for Science, Technology Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation, succeeding the Provincial Party Committee Office.

Handover Process

The transition to the new era was marked by an official conference held between the An Giang Provincial Police Department and the Provincial Party Committee Office.

During the ceremony, the transfer of duties and responsibilities was carried out through a document signed by both parties.

Participating Officials

The handover conference, held on the morning of September 15, was attended by high-ranking officials.

Major General Nguyen Van Han, Director of the An Giang Provincial Police, and Nguyen Van Giac, Head of the Provincial Party Committee Office, were present at the ceremony.

Management and Advisory

Lam Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, was also present at the meeting.

The Provincial Police Department assumed the duty of providing advisory, assistance, and support for the committee's activities.

New Scope of Duties

With this handover, the police force will play a more active role in digital transformation processes.

Work will continue with a new coordination as the standing body of the steering committee.
