Apple Announced Its New Devices at the September 9 Event
Technology giant Apple introduced its foldable smartphone, next-generation smartwatches, and wireless headphone models to tech enthusiasts at a special launch event.
At the event held at 8:00 PM Turkey time, Apple officially announced its first foldable screen smartphone, the iPhone Duo, along with the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5 models.
First Foldable Phone: iPhone Duo
Apple showcased its first foldable screen phone, the iPhone Duo model, which features a design similar to the Google Pixel Fold. Opening like a book, the device offers a screen that provides 50 percent more width compared to the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Equipped with the A20 Pro chip, dual 16-core Neural Engine, and 3000 nits of maximum brightness, the global starting price of the device has been set at $1,999. In Turkey, prices start from 229,999 TL and reach up to 335,999 TL.
Sales Dates and Planning
Pre-orders for the innovative foldable screen iPhone Duo model will begin on October 16. The official sales transactions for the device will take place on October 23.
iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Models
Positioned as the flagship devices of the series, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models were introduced with updates such as the A20 Pro processor, an improved camera structure, enhanced thermal performance, and the new C2 modem.
Among the next-generation flagship phones, the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro was announced as 137,999 TL, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max model was unveiled with a price tag of 149,999 TL.
Flagship Release Dates
The pre-order process for the eagerly awaited iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max series will begin on September 12. The models will take their place on shelves on September 18.
Apple Watch Series 12 Innovations
Equipped with a Health Data Detection System and the S11 chip, the Apple Watch Series 12 is offered to users with aluminum, titanium, and ceramic case alternatives. The starting price of the smartwatch was announced as 27,999 TL.
Apple Watch Ultra 4 Introduced
Developed with a focus on performance and durability, the Apple Watch Ultra 4 model arrived with technical details such as a 49 mm titanium case and 3000 nits screen brightness. The starting price of the smartwatch in Turkey was announced as 75,999 TL.
AirPods 5 Headphone Features
Equipped with Active Noise Cancellation and real-time translation capabilities, the AirPods 5 will meet users with a price tag of 9,999 TL for the standard model and 11,499 TL for the version with a wireless charging case.
AirPods 5 Release Date
The AirPods 5 wireless headphone model, drawing attention with its advanced audio features and updated hardware, will go on sale on September 18.
