Apple announces its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo

Apple has officially introduced its first smartphone with foldable screen technology, the iPhone Duo. Its advanced technical details, titanium body structure, and Turkey sales prices have been shared with technology enthusiasts.

Display and Design Features

The device's external display measures 5.5 inches and offers a resolution of 1422x2088 pixels. On the inside, there is a 7.76-inch 120 Hz Pro Motion OLED screen with a resolution of 1920x2713 pixels.

Reaching a thickness of 4.8 mm when open and 9.6 mm when folded, the model draws attention with its crease-free structure. The device, which uses titanium material in its body, comes in blue and white color options.

Hardware and Camera Capacity

Powered by the A20 Pro processor, the phone features 12 GB of RAM. On the storage side, users can choose from four different options: 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB.

Housing a standard 12 MP camera on the front, the device features two separate cameras with 48 MP wide angles on the back. Additionally, the model only supports the eSIM system.

Security and Additional Features

Instead of traditional Face ID, a side-mounted Touch ID fingerprint reader was chosen as a biometric security measure. The device also comes with Apple Pencil support.

Turkey Prices and Schedule

Announced with a starting price of $1,999, the 256 GB version of the phone has been set at 229,999 TL, while the highest capacity 2. TB version is set at 335,999 TL.

Pre-orders for the new smartphone will begin on October 16 at 3:00 PM, and the device will take its place on shelves as of October 23.
