Applications Are Being Accepted for the Turkey Strategic Technology Human Resources Program
Thanks to the program launched by the Council of Higher Education, it is aimed to train and employ thousands of young researchers in critical technology fields.
The application process has begun for the Turkey Strategic Technology Human Resources Program, implemented by the Council of Higher Education, which aims to train 550 young researchers in its initial phase.
Scope and Objectives of the Program
In the first year, 550 young researchers will be trained in the fields of informatics, hardware, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. By the end of five years, it is targeted to bring a total of approximately 3,000 researchers into the country's science and technology ecosystem.
Application Conditions and Disciplines
Young individuals will be employed as research assistants while pursuing their doctoral education at research universities. In addition to engineering fields that meet the admission requirements, graduates from medicine, law, and various disciplines will also be able to apply.
Calendar and Preference Process
Candidates will be able to submit their applications through the ÖYP system between September 8-22, 2026. While candidates will have a total of up to 5 preference rights from a maximum of two different fields, the central written exam will be administered by ÖSYM on November 28, 2026.
