Bottlenecks Addressed in Industry and Trade Sector via Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW
A seminar held in Hanoi evaluated four solution groups and new strategies to overcome technological barriers in the industrial and trade sectors.
At a comprehensive seminar held in Hanoi, solutions were discussed to overcome bottlenecks in mechanisms and resources under Politburo Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, which aims to develop science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in the industry and trade sector.
Main Agenda of the Seminar
The event, organized by the Industry and Trade Magazine in Hanoi, focused on eliminating bottlenecks in mechanisms, resources, human resources, and technological capabilities within the sector.
Ministry Efforts and Progress
Hoang Ninh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology, and Digital Transformation at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, stated that the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW has entered an in-depth stage focusing on concrete tasks.
It was announced that since the beginning of the year, numerous tasks have been handled by the Ministry, a significant portion of administrative procedures has been simplified, and legal documents have been issued.
Three Main Highlighted Obstacles
Three main bottlenecks were outlined at the meeting: institutions that cannot keep up with technological developments, insufficient resources and human elements, and a large gap between research and practical application.
The Gap Between Research and Institutions
Duong Duc Anh, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Electronics, Informatics and Automation, drew attention to new research products remaining in laboratories, insufficient financial resources, and the gap between the actual needs of research institutions and businesses.
The Role of Companies in the Sector
Representatives from the Vietnam Chemical Corporation and Ngai Cau Investment, Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company shared their innovative work and orientations in the fields of semiconductors and strategic technologies with the participants.
Proposed Solution Groups
It was emphasized that in the upcoming period, to overcome bottlenecks, the institutions of scientific tasks must be perfected, resources must be concentrated, and the capacity of enterprises to absorb technology must be increased.
