Compulsory Basic Artificial Intelligence Literacy Training for Public Employees to Begin
Compulsory artificial intelligence literacy training will be provided via e-learning for millions of public personnel in Turkey to ensure the safe and effective use of technology.
Within the framework of the 2026-2030 Turkey Artificial Intelligence Action Plan, coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, compulsory basic artificial intelligence literacy training is being implemented for public employees.
Compulsory Training and Monitoring Process
Public employees will be provided with basic artificial intelligence literacy training via e-learning methods, and this training will be compulsory.
While short practical modules will be offered based on the duties and responsibilities of the employees, their success levels will also be regularly monitored.
Training Content and Micro-Certificates
The training programs will teach basic concepts of artificial intelligence, the safe use of generative tools, and ethical principles.
Level-based micro-certificates will be awarded to personnel who successfully complete the program.
Institutional Artificial Intelligence Managers
Senior executives will be appointed in institutions to manage the transformation in the public sector, and projects will be reported.
Roadmap and Pilot Applications
Institutions will prepare their three-year artificial intelligence roadmaps within twelve weeks, and pilot applications will be launched in ministries.
e-Government Integration
Artificial intelligence-powered citizen services will be launched as a pilot via e-Government.
