Dong Nai City Evaluates Research Projects for 2026

The Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology held an Expert Advisory Team meeting to clarify the 2026 budget ceiling and evaluate 19 research projects in the fields of science, technology, and engineering.
Purpose of the Meeting and Participants
On the morning of October 2, the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology gathered to review the 2026 budget ceiling for tasks in science, technology, and innovation, as well as applied research projects.
Meeting Chairs
Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Science and Technology Committee of VNU-HCM, chaired the Experts Group meeting, while Nguyen Thanh Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, and numerous scientists were also present.
Evaluated Projects and Findings
A total of 19 research projects in the fields of science, technology, and engineering were included in this evaluation round, and the expert advisory group noted that some of the proposed topics have high potential to be implemented for the first time in the city.
Projects Excluded from the List
It was recommended that certain projects not be included in the implementation list because their contents were found to overlap, fall short, or their research objectives did not align with the proposed task titles.
