A Success Story Beginning at TEKNOFEST
The Aviation, Space and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST), organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, continues to welcome visitors at the Şanlıurfa GAP Airport.
While a Computer Engineering student at Fırat University, the young entrepreneur and their team participated in the 2024 competition with the İpek Yolu Rocket Team, successfully winning the Best Team Spirit award at the organization.
Development of the Indigenous Flight Control Computer
Continuing their work after student life, the entrepreneur promoted the innovative products they developed at the booth inside the T3 Enterprise Foundation tent.
Inspired by ROKETSAN's requirement to include commercial products in systems during the competition, the team designed a domestic board that manages all processes of the rocket from launch to landing.
System Designed as the Brain of the Rocket
Positioned as the brain of the rocket, the commercial flight control computer keeps all flight phases of the rocket under control, ensuring a safe cruise process.
All design, assembly, and software stages of this critical system developed were carried out using entirely indigenous resources and successfully passed ROKETSAN's tests.
Future Goals and International Plans
Stating that TEKNOFEST has been an important bridge for them from student life to professional business life, the entrepreneur shared that they made their first commercial sales to the domestic market.
Following this initial success, the startup team aims to carry the indigenous technologies they have developed to the international market in the upcoming period.
