Vietnam Red Data Book Series Wins First Place at Science and Technology Book Awards
Surpassing over 300 submissions at the inaugural 2026 Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Book Awards, the Vietnam Red Data Book series won the first-place prize.
In its first year, having surpassed more than 300 entrants, the "Vietnam Red Data Book" series achieved great success at the Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Book Awards, claiming the first-place prize.
Award Ceremony and Competition Participation
Organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology within the framework of the National Innovation Festival, the award ceremony attracted intense interest from research institutes and universities.
Although organized for the first time, a total of 329 applications were submitted to the organization, which gained wide recognition in a short period.
Winner of the First Prize
Among the best works determined by the jury as a result of strict evaluation criteria, the two-volume work was deemed worthy of first place.
Covering animals, plants, and fungi, the work stood out as a scientific study of national significance.
Prize Amount Increased by the Minister
The first-place prize, initially set at thirty million VND, was increased through the minister's personal contribution.
With seventy million VND added by Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan, the total prize amount reached one hundred million VND.
Other Award-Winning Works
As a result of the jury's evaluations, alongside the first-place prize, second-place, third-place, and encouragement awards in various categories also found their recipients.
Works written on artificial intelligence, digital literacy, and productive forces in the digital age were also among the recognized studies.
