Inonu University Rector Akpolat Visited TEKNOFEST UAV Competition

Inonu University Rector Prof. Dr. Nusret Akpolat visited the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Competition area held under the umbrella of TEKNOFEST by TUBITAK and observed the students' motivation firsthand.

Competition Visit and Participants

Inonu University Rector Prof. Dr. Nusret Akpolat visited the International and High School UAV Competition organized by TUBITAK within TEKNOFEST. During the visit at Tulga Airport, Rector Akpolat was accompanied by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sağlam, Acting Provincial Director of Industry and Technology Ahmet Özerhan, and T3 Foundation Advisory Board Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Ateş.

Students' Perseverance and Motivation

Evaluating the focused state and high motivation of the young people in the competition area, Rector Akpolat stated that everyone believes in what they are doing and there will be no losers. Akpolat expressed that they have witnessed the TEKNOFEST youth increasing exponentially in the country.

The University's Stakeholder Role

Emphasizing that Inonu University has been an official stakeholder university since the very establishment of the TEKNOFEST organization, Akpolat noted that they fully support the process with their academic staff and students.

Advice to the Youth

Stating that the young people competing in the race are on the right track, Akpolat conveyed that achieving a ranking is of secondary importance and they must continue to work with perseverance.
