More than one hundred pioneering companies, including OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, have published a joint open letter to strengthen cyber defense, drawing attention to the fact that critical infrastructures worldwide are under risk.

The open letter titled "Joint call for action for cyber defense", published on OpenAI's website, bears the signatures of more than one hundred companies.
Critical Infrastructures Under Threat
While warning that cyberattacks will become more complex with the increasing capabilities of artificial intelligence models, it was emphasized that critical services, ranging from hospitals to water treatment facilities, are at risk.
Security Approach Insufficient
Admitting that current security approaches will not be sufficient, the letter stated that there is a limited time window to strengthen cyber defense.
Call to Institutions and Governments
While all organizations are asked to make cyber defense an urgent priority, governments are also asked to coordinate defense at local and international levels.

Leading institutions of the industry such as Accenture, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon called on public and private sector leaders to join the joint effort.
