The ever-deferred to-do lists brought by modern life were tested with Muse, an AI agent developed by Meta for a broad audience. Operating with a cute Marley avatar, the agent performed various tasks such as email tracking and shopping.

During the testing process, Marley was given various tasks such as tracking emails, finding necessary parts for an old espresso machine, and accessing security system account information. The agent conducted email correspondence and added found products to the cart during this process.
Shopping and Service Planning
The agent searched for camping supplies and a LavaBox fire pit through the OXO and Walmart websites, creating a spending plan of approximately $500. It also obtained quotes from junk removal services for a fallen tree branch in the backyard.
Privacy Concerns and Time Usage
Although the system proved successful in speeding up tasks, attention was drawn to the risks posed by sharing sensitive data—such as full name, address, credit card information, and backyard photos—with Meta. It was also emphasized that the time saved was still spent in front of the screen.
