Ministry of Science and Technology completes part of its digital transformation plan tasks

The Ministry of Science and Technology has completed 6 out of 20 assigned tasks under a 100-day action plan aimed at resolving digital transformation bottlenecks within the political system. It was reported that the remaining 14 tasks are progressing as planned without any disruptions.

Launch of the Action Plan and Task Distribution

The Ministry of Science and Technology implemented Plan No. 05-KH/BCĐTW dated July 11, 2026, aimed at resolving digital transformation bottlenecks in the political system.

The ministry quickly materialized the assigned tasks, clearly defining responsible leaders, relevant units, outputs, and timelines.

Institutional Framework and Key Regulations

To improve institutions, the institutional framework was perfected, establishing a unified foundation for the development of digital systems.

Version 1.0 of the Data Architecture Framework was published, and approval procedures for 148 civil servants working in specialized roles were completed.

Infrastructure and Information Security Efforts

The list of high-performance computing centers was forwarded to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and security profiles were established.

Reports were received from 34 provinces and cities regarding weak signal coverage issues in government and educational institutions, and solutions began to be developed.

Database Integration and Digital Platforms

As of August 20, 2026, all 7 databases were connected to the National Data Center and synchronization was achieved.

Official documents providing the single sign-on feature via VNeID were published for relevant units and institutions.

Restructuring of Administrative Procedures

Processes in the Administrative Procedure Resolution Information System were updated for all 130 administrative procedures under management.

It was officially reported that electronic configuration and data utilization were successfully completed at a rate of one hundred percent.
