Multiple Agencies in Can Tho City Implement Digital Transformation Projects
Multiple departments and agencies in Can Tho are simultaneously carrying out digital transformation projects for the 2026-2030 period.
In collaboration with the Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Finance, investment has been secured for 16 planned digital transformation projects for the 2026-2030 period, with various agencies continuing these efforts in their respective fields.
Investment and Project Planning
The Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology, working in coordination with the Department of Finance, advised the City People's Committee on assigning tasks to prepare investments for 16 digital transformation projects for the 2026-2030 period.
Budget and Expenditure Status
As of September 18, 2026, the total budget allocated to the Department of Science and Technology for science, technology, and digital transformation stood at 177.06 billion VND. More than 82.71 billion VND of this funding has been disbursed, achieving an expenditure rate of 47 percent.
Agency Participation and Activities
While the City Department of Science and Technology is leading the implementation of 9 projects across different sectors and fields, the City Police Department, the Can Tho City Military Command, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the Department of Industry and Trade are also executing various digital transformation projects in their respective domains.
