The new digital platform launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology standardizes research processes and connects universities with the business world.
On September 11, 2026, the Ministry of Science and Technology officially launched the National Science, Technology and Innovation Information System. This platform represents a digital transformation and a significant breakthrough in the management of the national scientific ecosystem.
New Step in Digital Governance
Transcending the limits of a static archive, this platform standardizes data throughout the entire process from research to application.
Connecting universities and research institutions directly with the business world, the system offers a nationally shared digital infrastructure.
Scope and Integration of the System
Implemented pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1132/QD-TTg dated June 24, 2026, the system is a nationally shared digital platform.
The platform comprehensively manages science and technology activities, intellectual property, quality measurement standards, and technology transfer processes.
Secure Login and Data Sharing
The system is integrated with the National Data Center, allowing users to log in using a single sign-on method via the VNeID application.
Future Goals and Statements
Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Xuan Dinh emphasized that the operation of the system is just a beginning and that the true value lies in data quality.
Representatives of the NAFOSTED Foundation also pledged to integrate their online systems with the national platform in order to reduce administrative burdens.
