New Science and Technology Investments Introduced at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University
Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University introduced new TÜBİTAK-backed laboratories, R&D centers, and technology projects to the press in a program attended by Rector Fatih Yılmaz.
During a campus tour organized by Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, new TÜBİTAK-supported investments, R&D centers, and laboratories implemented in the fields of science, technology, agriculture, and applied education were shared with the public.
Introduction Program on University Campus
A campus tour was organized for members of the media by Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, and within the scope of this program, new investments in the fields of science, technology, agriculture, and applied education were introduced.
National Technology Workshop and Teknofest Activities
While practical training is provided to students at the National Technology Workshop established entirely with TÜBİTAK project supports, approximately 200 university teams applied to Teknofest this year and four teams advanced to the finals.
Biodiversity Museum and Educational Activities
The Biodiversity Museum, which has opened on campus, brings together Tokat's plant and animal diversity with scientific collections and allows teachers in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education to make appointments and conduct science and biology classes there.
TOGÜ HygieneLab and R&D Products
It was announced that the R&D processes for the registered products at TOGÜ HygieneLab, established as a practical laboratory for second-year Faculty of Pharmacy students, have been completed and they will be offered for sale shortly.
Agriculture and Solar-Powered Drying Facility
While breeding studies continue at the Potato Research Greenhouse, the Solar-Powered Drying Facility with a daily capacity of 1 ton enables women's cooperatives and farmers to dry their products alongside the university.
