In the first year of the Turkey Strategic Technology Human Resources Program announced by the Council of Higher Education, 550 doctoral students will be employed as research assistants at research universities.

Quota Distribution

According to the statement made by the Council of Higher Education, 550 doctoral students will be employed as research assistants in the first year of the program. 222 quotas were allocated for artificial intelligence and smart systems.

Technology Fields

144 quotas were determined for information technologies, 108 for cybersecurity, and 76 for hardware and computer systems. A significant portion of the total quota was allocated to the field of artificial intelligence.

Program Goals

The Turkey Strategic Technology Human Resources Program offers young graduates from different undergraduate programs the opportunity to pursue a doctorate in priority technology fields. Within the scope of the five-year program, it is aimed to train a total of 3 thousand young researchers.

Application Process

Candidates will be able to submit their applications electronically through the Council of Higher Education's Application System for Doctoral Programs in Priority Areas until September 22. The central written examination will be administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center on November 28.
