Science Meeting for Youth from Bornova Municipality and the Goethe Institute
The Junioruni event, held in cooperation with Bornova Municipality and the Goethe Institute, offered young people a hands-on technology experience.
Bornova Municipality, in partnership with the German Goethe Institute, brought together students aged 13-16 with Junioruni, an innovative science and technology launch. At the five-hour organization held at the Mevlana Society and Science Center, approximately 60 students produced projects across six different thematic stations.
Junioruni Launch Held
The Junioruni event, organized in cooperation with Bornova Municipality and the German Goethe Institute, brought young people together with innovation and technology. Approximately 60 students aged 13-16 attended the organization held at the Mevlana Society and Science Center.
Hands-On and Confidence-Boosting Model
Lasting for five hours, the event went beyond theoretical knowledge to offer students a learning model focused on curiosity and teamwork. During this process, young people gained self-confidence by developing direct solutions in the fields of coding and design.
Six Different Thematic Stations
Participants experienced interactive sessions in 30-minute tours at six different stations specially prepared for them. Ranging from space travel to coding, these stations became the center of attention for the youth.
Technology and Natural Sciences Together
While students explored space with virtual reality glasses, they had their first coding experiences with microcontrollers. A robotics laboratory, sustainability tasks, bridge races, and nature studies were also among the stations.
