Within the scope of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation efforts carried out in Thanh Hoa province, artificial intelligence and digital tools are being integrated into many fields ranging from administrative reform and public services to agriculture and e-commerce.

Digital Transformation in Governance

Since the implementation of the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, more than 6.2 million electronic documents have been processed across the province, and the digital signature rate has exceeded 98%.

While the Smart Monitoring and Operation Center operates with 18 subsystems, the Thanh Hoa Digital Application offers citizens 47 different utility programs.

Innovations in Public Services

KPI and OKR performance evaluation software integrated with dashboards and artificial intelligence has been piloted in Hac Thanh and Dong Son wards.

Mobile public service teams operating in the Sam Son area go directly to neighborhood cultural centers to support citizens with administrative procedures and VNeID activation.

Technology Infrastructure

There are a total of 9,808 base stations across the province, 894 of which are 5G, and mobile coverage reaches 99.89% of villages.

Approximately 52,000 people participated in the Digital Literacy for the People and Application of Artificial Intelligence in Work and Life programs.

Advanced Technologies in Agriculture and Healthcare

The 22 science and technology tasks approved by the Provincial People's Committee focus on high-tech agriculture, medicine, environment, and tourism.

In the healthcare sector, robots support endoscopic surgery, while ICG technology is successfully applied in cancer surgeries.

Digital Economy and Innovation

While 50% of small and medium-sized enterprises are present on e-commerce platforms, 48% of the population benefits from online shopping opportunities.

Within the innovation ecosystem across the province, there are 32 science and technology enterprises, 2 innovation incubation centers, and more than 60 innovative startups.
