TEKNOFEST 2026 Competitions Successfully Concluded in Diyarbakır
Technology competitions held in 11 different categories as part of the TEKNOFEST 2026 events hosted by Diyarbakır have been completed.
The TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions held in Diyarbakır under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation were completed in eleven different categories with the participation of thousands of young people from 12 countries.
Competition Venues and Schedule
The events were implemented under the main leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation. The competitions took place between September 16 and 20.
The first stage was held between September 16-18 at Dicle University 15 Temmuz Congress and Culture Center.
First Stage Categories
Finalist teams competed fiercely in three different categories during the first stage at Dicle University.
These categories covered technologies for the benefit of humanity at the middle and high school levels, as well as artificial intelligence in healthcare.
Second Stage Categories
Between September 18 and 20, the Mesopotamia International Fair and Congress Center hosted the excitement of the second stage.
Competitions were held in a total of eight categories in this area, including robotic applications in industry, jet engine design, and chip design.
International Participant Profile
Children and young people from a total of 12 different countries, alongside Turkey, participated in the organization.
Teams came from countries such as the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, Georgia, Greece, and the TRNC.
Young People's Experiences and Awards
Students participating in the competition shared their experiences and projects acquired throughout the process.
The awards for the top three teams ranking in each category will be presented at the Southeastern TEKNOFEST in Şanlıurfa.
