TEKNOFEST 2026 Rocket Competition Begins in Aksaray
Organized within the framework of the National Technology Move, the event brings young people's designed rockets together with the sky.
The Rocket Competition, held under the management of ROKETSAN within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2026, has begun at the Aksaray Hisar Firing Range, bringing young people together with real engineering processes.
Competition Details and Dates
The TEKNOFEST 2026 Rocket Competition is taking place between September 7 and September 13, 2026, at the Aksaray Hisar Firing Range, bringing young engineers together.
Growing Interest and Number of Applications
The number of applications, which was 156 in 2018, showed a significant increase in 2026, reaching 2,212 teams and demonstrating the high interest in the organization.
Distribution of Categories and Groups
The competition is organized in a total of 11 different categories under Groups A and B, offering participants a wide technology development area.
Finalist Teams and International Participation
The 73 teams that reached the finals in Group A categories are competing with a total of 958 contestants; participants come from 28 provinces of Turkey and 6 different countries.
Award Amounts and Support
First-place prizes vary between 180,000 TL and 420,000 TL depending on the categories, with the highest awards given in the liquid-fueled rocket engine categories.
