TEKNOFEST Turkey Drone Championship Batman Stage Races Conclude
24 licensed pilots competed in the second leg of the Turkey Drone Championship held in Batman. The top-ranking participants will head to Şanlıurfa for the final.
The second leg of the Turkey Drone Championship, held within the scope of the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, has concluded in Batman. Following Şırnak, the pilots who achieved success in Batman earned the right to participate in the grand final to be held in Şanlıurfa on September 30.
Exciting Competition in Batman
The second leg of the Turkey Drone Championship, organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST, took place at the Batman Athletics Track. While a total of 847 teams applied for the championship this year, 24 licensed pilots earned the right to compete in the Batman stage at the end of the process.
Participation of Protocol and Citizens
Batman Governor Ekrem Canalp and Batman Deputy Ferhat Nasıroğlu visited the competition area and toured the booths. Members of the protocol, who received information from authorities, and citizens followed the thrilling struggles of the pilots in the qualification, elimination, and final rounds.
Technical Details and Conditions
Racing drones equipped with FPV systems, measuring 180 to 250 millimeters in diameter and operating at a maximum 6S battery voltage, were used in the competitions. While the pilots completed the track in the shortest possible time, they tried to navigate the obstacles with high precision, and the drones underwent referee inspection prior to the race.
Grand Final in Şanlıurfa
Following the first leg in Şırnak, awards were presented to the first, second, and third place athletes who ranked in the second leg held in Batman. Athletes who successfully completed the races in Batman will compete in the grand final stage to be held in Şanlıurfa on September 30.
