TEKNOFEST UAV Finals Begin at Malatya Tulga Airport
The final stage of the UAV competitions, coordinated by TÜBİTAK, is being held in Malatya with the participation of 113 teams selected from over 7,000 applications.
Bringing together young UAV developers from Turkey and around the world, the final stage of the competitions within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2026 begins today with thrilling matches at Malatya Tulga Airport.
Competition Details
The final phase of the International and Inter-High School Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competitions, organized under the coordination of TÜBİTAK within the framework of TEKNOFEST 2026, is coming to life in Malatya.
Participation and Category Information
While more than 7,000 teams applied for the organization, 113 teams that earned the right to make it to the finals after this process are finding the opportunity to showcase their technologies.
The event is being held this year in a total of three different categories: Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, and Free Mission.
Location and Date Information
The final matches, where young developers will test their projects in the sky, will take place at Malatya Tulga Airport between September 8 and 13.
