Turkish engineering candidates from abroad visited TEKNOFEST
Young people in Turkey through the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities internship program had the opportunity to examine TEKNOFEST in Şanlıurfa.
Turkish engineering and software students living abroad, who came to the country through the Turkey Internships program of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, visited TEKNOFEST held in Şanlıurfa and received information about the works.
Turkey Internships Program
Within the scope of the Turkey Internships program carried out by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities since 2023, Turkish engineering and software students living abroad are provided with internship opportunities in defense industry companies in Turkey.
Interns' Visit to TEKNOFEST
It was reported that approximately 150 to 200 young people are brought to Turkey every year after various evaluations to participate in a one-month internship program, and in this context, they visited TEKNOFEST, which continues at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport.

YTB President Abdulhadi Turus stated that the festival has an important place in the development of young people's perspectives on Turkey, and expressed that they broke the negative perceptions towards Turkey stemming from the rising far-right and racism in continental Europe through these programs.
Students' Experiences and Goals
Bilal Ünal, who came from Belgium and completed his internship, said he was proud to see KAAN and KIZILELMA at the festival, while Zeynep Daşdemir, a space engineering student from Germany, stated that she took part in the satellite testing phases at TAI (TUSAŞ).
