Vietnam and Russia to Hold Strategic Technology Connection Forum

Organized in cooperation with the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology and the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Vietnam-Russia Strategic Technology Connection forum is being launched in Moscow.

Purpose and Date of the Forum

The Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology announced that the event, which aims to promote cooperation in the fields of research, technology development, and human resource training, took place in Moscow on September 9.

The Vietnam-Russia Science and Technology Forum: Strategic Technology Connections is organized through the joint cooperation of the relevant ministries of both countries.

Participant Profile and Expected Delegates

High-level leaders, government agencies, research institutions, universities, and representatives from businesses from both countries are expected to attend the event.

A total of approximately 400 delegates are expected to participate in the organization.

Sessions and Focus Areas

The forum consists of three main sessions addressing the expansion of scientific and technological cooperation between Vietnam and Russia.

The event focuses on areas of vital importance for technological and industrial development in the coming period. Alongside the discussion sessions, a networking session will also take place.

Registered Organizations and Sectors

Prior to the event, more than 100 organizations representing various fields from both countries officially registered.

The participating organizations represent sectors such as nuclear energy, oil, natural gas, petrochemistry, electricity, renewable energy, materials, chemistry, nanotechnology, information technology, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and cybersecurity.

Additionally, fields such as mining, strategic minerals, marine sciences, and biomedical sciences are also among the represented sectors.
