With an appointment ceremony held at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Vu Thanh Mai was officially appointed as vice president. The event, held in Hanoi on September 3, announced the Central Secretariat's decision dated August 22, 2026.

In accordance with the Central Secretariat's decision No. 302-QDNS/TW dated August 22, 2026, it was decided to appoint Vu Thanh Mai as Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. This appointment was announced at an official conference held in Hanoi on September 3.

New Duties and Responsibilities

Having previously served as Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Vu Thanh Mai will also take an active role in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Academy Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term in her new position.
