Vu Thanh Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, has been appointed as Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and has also been assigned to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Academy's Party Committee.

Born in 1973 in Ninh Binh, Vu Thanh Mai holds a doctoral degree in physics. She has long served in various positions at the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
