Turkey's installed electricity capacity increased as of the end of August
While total capacity increased with renewable energy investments, the share in this area reached 62.9 percent.
According to data shared by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkey's total installed electricity capacity rose to 126,944 megawatts as of the end of August.

According to the disclosed data, the share of domestic resources within the total installed electricity capacity was recorded as 72.1 percent.
Solar and Wind Energy
Installed solar energy capacity rose to 27,914 megawatts, while wind energy capacity increased to 15,434 megawatts.
2053 Targets
Minister Alparslan Bayraktar emphasized that renewable energy investments will continue without slowing down and that they are moving towards the 2053 Net Zero Emission target.
