Guests who gathered for the anniversary celebrations collectively commemorated the institute's historical importance and contributions.

Former students from past periods of the institute expressed, some in person and others through recorded video messages, how their experiences at the institute changed their lives.
Participants voiced deep gratitude for the opportunities provided by the institute, the faculty members, and the bonds they formed with one another.
The Question Posed by Kuzipa Nalwamba
Rev. Dr Kuzipa Nalwamba, director of the WCC Ecumenical Formation Programme, posed a thought-provoking question to the participants during the ceremony.
Addressing the community at the institute, Nalwamba asked, "What did Bossey give you that you could never have gotten anywhere else?"
Launch of the New Digital Alumni Network
Announced within the framework of the celebrations, the new Bossey Alumni Network was designed as a dedicated digital space for former students to reconnect with each other.
Operating completely free of charge, this platform will function as both a communication channel and a news source among alumni.

Speaking amidst applause from participants during the launch, Pillay stated that this new initiative will play a major role in bringing former students together.
