California Woman Arrested for Allegedly Killing Husband with Flagpole
A 65-year-old woman in Palm Desert has been taken into custody on murder charges alleging she killed her husband with a flagpole.
Vicky Kyung Mi Kim, a 65-year-old resident of California, USA, has been arrested on charges of murdering her husband with a flagpole. While the victim, who died at the scene, was identified as her husband, the suspect's bail was set at $10 million.

In the incident, which occurred at The Enclave, a luxury residential community in the Palm Desert area, sheriff's deputies acted upon a call for service.
When the teams arrived at the address, they determined that a person with traumatic injuries resulting from a physical assault had passed away.
Past Legal Proceedings
According to court documents, it emerged that the suspect had a prior history of domestic violence.
It was determined that the woman, who had pleaded guilty to battery and corporal injury charges against her husband in January, had violated a protective order.

Molly Smith, a spokesperson for the Riverside County District Attorney's Office, drew attention to the defendant's past legal troubles.
It was stated that despite objections from the prosecution, the court had treated the case as a misdemeanor and terminated the protective orders.
