Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan's Conditions in Adiala Jail Spark Controversy
The prison conditions and health status of former Pakistani leader Imran Khan have caused a major controversy between his family and the government.
It is alleged that former Pakistani prime minister and former cricket star Imran Khan is being held under severe solitary confinement conditions in Adiala Jail and that his health is deteriorating.
Prison Conditions and Health Status
The 73-year-old former prime minister, who is being held at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Pakistan's fourth-largest city, is kept in indefinite solitary confinement lasting 23 hours a day.
According to information shared by his family, Imran Khan is given contaminated water, his eyesight has significantly diminished, and his health is deteriorating day by day.
Claims by His Sons and the Government's Response
His British citizen sons, Kasim and Sulaiman, claimed in an interview that Pakistani authorities were trying to kill their father.
