Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps seized a US-owned Remus 600 type autonomous underwater vehicle in the Strait of Hormuz, alleging it was engaged in espionage activities. US President Donald Trump rejected Iran's offer to reopen the strait and halt regional conflicts.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi stated that Tehran was awaiting a definitive response through mediators. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that his country was open to negotiations but would not accept pressure and coercion.
Armed Attacks in South Africa
Twenty-seven people lost their lives in two separate armed attacks that occurred in South Africa's Wedela and Lwandle regions. Treatment continues for 26 injured individuals, while security measures have been increased in connection with the incidents.
