Hearthstone World Championship Returns to BlizzCon
The top 16 players from around the world will fiercely compete on the BlizzCon stage for a total prize pool of $500,000 and a $100,000 grand prize.
Returning to BlizzCon after years, the Hearthstone World Championship group stage will take place from September 8 to 10, while the playoff stage will be held live on September 12-13.
Tournament Dates and Schedule
As part of the Hearthstone World Championship, the group stage will be played on September 8-10, with matches starting at 9:00 AM PDT. The playoff stage at BlizzCon will begin at 11:00 AM on September 12 and at 9:00 AM on September 13.
Prize Pool and Championship
A massive total prize pool of $500,000 awaits participants in this year's tournament. The winner of the tournament will claim the title of 2026 Hearthstone World Champion and take home the $100,000 grand prize.
Match Format and Groups
The matches will be played using a Best-of-5 Conquest format featuring a 4-deck and ban system. 16 talented players from around the globe will compete in groups A, B, C, and D.
Viewer Rewards and Drops
Viewers can earn Escape from Violet Hold packs by following the broadcasts on Twitch or YouTube. Additionally, viewers can obtain extra rewards by choosing their favorite competitors.
Broadcasters and Talent Lineup
The official broadcasts of the tournament will reach viewers via Twitch and YouTube platforms. The matches will be hosted and cast by Edelweiss, Lorinda, PocketTrain, Raven, Sottle, and special guest commentators.
