India's 2027 Cricket World Cup Match Schedule Announced
The ICC has announced the detailed schedule for the 2027 ODI World Cup, to be hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
The match schedule for the 2027 ODI World Cup, announced by the International Cricket Council, has been finalized. India's opponents in the tournament and their group-stage match program, having secured direct qualification, have been revealed.
Tournament Dates and Hosts
The 50-over format tournament, jointly hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, will take place between October 4 and November 21, 2027.
While South Africa will host the tournament across eight different venues, Zimbabwe and Namibia are also among the countries hosting matches.
India's Group Stage Match Program
India will play its opening group-stage match against Australia in Cape Town on October 7, followed by a match against Pakistan in Johannesburg on October 10.
Continuing their campaign, the team will play against Afghanistan in Centurion on October 14, a Qualifier A team in Bloemfontein on October 17, and Zimbabwe in Victoria Falls on October 24.
Match Timings and Direct Qualification
Due to its position in the rankings, India has become one of the top eight ODI nations to secure direct qualification for the tournament.
All India matches are scheduled to start at 13:30 Indian Standard Time and 10:00 South African Standard Time.
