Centralny Port Komunikacyjny, Poland's flagship transport project combining a new international airport with high-speed rail and road networks, is continuing preparations for the main foundation works of the passenger terminal.

Located between Warsaw and Lodz and targeted for opening in 2032, the project's test piles have been completed, and more than eight thousand piles and columns will be installed as part of the main works.

New Baggage System Construction at Auckland Airport

Auckland Airport has started construction work for a new baggage handling system that will be three times the length of the existing thirty-year-old system.

The project involves adding or replacing more than six miles of conveyor equipment, with the work targeted for completion alongside a common-use self-service check-in lane.
