Attack on the Nabatieh Region

An airstrike was carried out by the Israeli regime on a town in the Nabatieh region of southern Lebanon. As a result of this attack, at least 10 people lost their lives.

It was reported that children were among the dead, including a two-month-old baby.

Successive Night Raids

A day prior to the attack in Nabatieh, airstrikes on the nearby town of Arab Salim killed at least seven people and injured 20 others.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army struck a residential area in Deir Zahrani during the night following the issuance of a mandatory evacuation order.

Military Justification and Situation in the Region

The Israeli military claimed that the targeted building was near a Hezbollah facility and was used to launch explosive drones.

Following the nighttime attacks, correspondents reporting from Kfar Reman stated that an atmosphere of uncertainty and fear prevails across the region.

Civilian Casualties and Search and Rescue

A heavy wave of attacks occurred in the region over the past 48 hours, targeting civilians and destroying residential buildings.

It was reported that civil defense teams continued search and rescue and debris clearance operations throughout the night.

Violation of the Ceasefire

These violent clashes and loss of life in the region are continuing unabated despite the US-brokered ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon in June.
