According to the newly released 2027 rankings, Lafayette College ranked 30th among the best national liberal arts colleges across the U.S.
In the 2027 Best Colleges rankings released by U.S. News & World Report, Lafayette College was ranked 30th in the national liberal arts colleges category.
Placement in General Rankings
Lafayette College secured the 30th spot nationally in the 2027 Best Colleges list published by U.S. News & World Report.
Additionally, it placed 27th on the newly created Best Private Colleges list and climbed 12 spots to 77th in the Best Value Schools ranking.
Engineering Achievements
The college's Engineering Department was ranked 15th among undergraduate engineering programs that do not offer a doctorate degree.
Furthermore, the civil engineering program ranked 13th, and the mechanical engineering program placed 19th.
Rise in Academic Programs
Significant increases were experienced in undergraduate programs, with economics rising by 34 spots, computer science by 28 spots, and psychology by 53 spots.
Leadership Evaluation
College President Nicole Hurd stated that such rankings validate the faculty's commitment to students and their pursuit of excellence.
