An unmanned aerial vehicle striking a three-story residence in the Sofyino area led to the death of a forty-four-year-old woman, while an elderly man also lost his life in the Orekhovo-Zuevo area.
Targets and Infrastructure Damage
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Kyiv's forces successfully struck a critical Russian oil facility and logistics center.
Moscow Mayor Sobyanin stated that the attacks aimed to disrupt the ongoing Russian parliamentary elections on their third day.
Transportation and Airport Restrictions
Due to the intense aerial attack, Sheremetyevo, Moscow's largest airport, warned passengers against temporary restrictions throughout the night.
Vnukovo airport temporarily suspended departures and arrivals for security reasons, and the restrictions were lifted as of Sunday morning.
