While the US presidential administration restricts some journalists' access to the White House, major TV networks have decided to halt White House pool broadcasts to show solidarity with CNN.

White House Pool Broadcasts Suspended

Major television networks announced that they have suspended their joint pool broadcasting operations after President Donald Trump restricted certain members of the press from entering the White House.

Joint Decision by Broadcasters

In line with this decision made by the television pool consisting of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, and CNN, the feed distributed to media outlets for many of Trump's events will not be provided.

No Replacement Pool Will Be Formed

Fox News Washington bureau chief and television pool president Bryan Boughton stated in an email to pool members that no replacement pool will be activated.

Federal Lawsuit Filed

Following MS NOW, CNN, and Politico reporters being denied entry to the White House over the weekend, these organizations filed a joint federal lawsuit against the Trump administration.
