Israeli intelligence assessments reveal that Iran is coordinating a new comprehensive and multi-front attack against Israel alongside its regional proxy networks. It is reported that the Islamic Republic of Iran plans to unite its forces known as the Axis of Resistance—Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, Hamas, and pro-Iranian militias in Iraq and Syria—in a single assault.
Addressing Past Deficiencies
Although the October 7 attack took place without the direct participation of other fronts, Hamas documents seized in the Gaza Strip showed that organization leader Yahya Sinwar had envisioned a broader regional war with the participation of Hezbollah and Iran. Israeli intelligence notes that the Axis of Resistance is working to fix the coordination gaps that emerged during the October attack.
Tehran's Multi-Front Strategy
