Losses in the Chernihiv Region
As a result of the collapse of an apartment block in the city of Pryluky, located in the northern Chernihiv region, 19 people, including children, lost their lives.
Casualties in Other Cities
Two people lost their lives and seven were injured in the city of Kremenchuk in the Poltava region, while casualties were also reported in three different cities, including the capital Kyiv.
Statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that this large-scale attack targeted missile and drone production and storage facilities across Ukraine.
Ukraine's Retaliatory Move
The Ukrainian side responded with long-range drones and missiles targeting oil refineries and storage facilities in Russia's Perm, Samara, and Astrakhan regions.
