It has emerged that the social media posts of the Sexual Education, Treatment and Research Association (CETAD), which faced an access ban within the scope of the "My Family is Safe" investigation, included LGBTI themes and expressions supporting children's trans identity processes, alongside sexual health and therapy content.
Investigation and Access Ban Process
Within the scope of the "My Family is Safe" investigation, an access ban was imposed on the Sexual Education, Treatment and Research Association (CETAD), and similar measures were introduced for numerous associations within the framework of the investigation.
It was previously stated that the association has a legal status and its primary field of activity consists of educational work for psychiatrists and psychotherapists.
Content of Social Media Posts
As a result of the reviews conducted, it was determined that the association's social media accounts featured various themes that were not limited to sexual health alone.
It was observed that the accounts also contained LGBTI-themed posts alongside sexual health and therapy content.
Approach to Trans Identity Processes
It was determined that evaluations regarding the possibility of children being trans individuals were shared on the association's social media accounts.
It was also identified that statements advocating for a supportive approach in these processes were included in the accounts.
