Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that following their meeting with US President Donald Trump, concrete agreements were made regarding his country producing Patriot missiles.

Zelenskiy expressed that Trump emphasized in their recent discussions that a final decision had been made to grant Ukraine a license to produce Patriot missiles.

Air Defense Needs and the Scale of Attacks

Patriot interceptors are among the few weapons capable of stopping ballistic missiles, while global supply shortages have negatively impacted Ukraine's defense capacity.

In the face of intensifying Russian ballistic missile and air attacks, Ukraine continues to face serious civilian casualties, particularly in the capital, Kyiv.

Possibility of a Potential Trilateral Meeting

It was reported that the Washington administration proposed organizing trilateral meetings between Ukraine, Russia, and the US, with the United Arab Emirates being considered as the location.

Zelenskiy conveyed that the European side would be briefed, the Americans would speak with the Russians, and they would return within ten days with a concrete perspective.
