The latest released data clearly showed that the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program jumped from 118th place last year to 56th place this year.

This rise occurred at a time when New Mexico is seeking to increase the number of healthcare workforce professionals, with a particular focus on rural areas.

This ranking places the university in the top 10 percent of nursing programs nationwide, making it the best program in the state.

Among the other areas where the university demonstrated success were various undergraduate programs such as engineering, computer science, business, and psychology.

It was also officially announced that significant achievement ratings were attained in the public schools category and the area of social mobility.
