Iran's Seven-Day Plan
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that they had conveyed a concrete seven-day peace plan to the US at the United Nations through Qatari mediation. The plan envisaged that the strategic waterway could be opened within seven days if conditions were met.
Stating that the Tehran administration would not relinquish its sovereign rights under pressure, the ball was put in the US court.
