US Television Networks Resume Trump Coverage

Following a court order restoring US media organizations' access to the White House, television networks have decided to resume covering President Donald Trump's events.

Restoration of White House Access

US television networks will begin covering US President Donald Trump's events after access to the White House was restored for reporters from CNN, MS NOW, and Politico.

This development comes after a legal process that began with the Trump administration banning three news organizations from the White House and resulted in a federal judge's temporary restraining order.

National Archives Visit

CNN announced it would be at the National Archives on Friday, as President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping were scheduled to visit the complex housing founding documents, including the US Constitution.

Reporters stated that there would be joint broadcasting and pool coverage at the facility, with CBS also serving as the pool camera for the White House schedule.

Ban Decision and Solidarity

Last week, Trump announced a ban on CNN, MS Now, and Politico, claiming that these organizations posed a national security risk following allegations of fake news.

When CNN was removed from the pool rotation consisting of five major broadcasters, the other four networks showed solidarity and refused to participate in the video pool.

Temporary Judicial Ruling

Federal Judge Timothy Kelly issued a 14-day temporary restraining order against the ban, restoring the organizations' access while the legal proceedings continue.

Judge Kelly stated that the organizations could succeed in their claim of constitutional rights violation, pointing to the administration's requirement to provide notice and the right to appeal before revoking journalists' credentials.
