Within the scope of progress recorded in the institutional framework of artificial intelligence in Vietnam, Law No. 134/2025/QH15 on Artificial Intelligence entered into force on March 1, 2026. Furthermore, with Decision No. 1671/QD-TTg dated August 28, 2026, safe and reliable artificial intelligence management was designated as the ninth pillar within the framework of the 2030 National AI Strategy and the 2045 vision.

These steps, taken following articles published in the Vietnam Journal of Science and Technology in October 2025, aim to transform AI ethics from abstract slogans into verifiable processes and evidence. Similar to the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ISO/IEC 42001:2023 standards at the global level, the goal is to transition from value statements to technical control norms. On the other hand, the 616-page book titled "Artificial Intelligence Ethics: Principles and Practices", published by the Publishing House of Science, Technology and Communications in 2026, is also among the resources contributing to the process.
